The HardiTraining® program is a five-course lifestyle program that was developed out of the hardiness, validated research model of performance, leadership and health. The program emphasizes three key areas of functioning that bolsters students resistance to stressful changes.
Through the hardiness model of stress management, performance and health, the attitudes and skill-sets of HardiCoping and Social Support and self-care behaviors that strengthen their ability to learn, students are able to work with disruptive changes in ways that turn them to advantage.
The students have comprehensive hardiness training manuals as well as online access to the online version of our training program. Through the HardiTraining® technology, students become more adept at:
- Analyzing problems in a way that transforms these into opportunities for strengthening personality hardiness, and professional and personal satisfaction, health, stamina, and performance
- Solving problems creatively and recognizing attitudes, feelings, and behaviors that undermine performance, vitality, and health
- Taking decisive steps to manage daily challenges,
- Accepting things that can’t be changed, while still finding ways to strengthen hardiness and personal effectiveness,
- Giving to and getting from others, social assistance and encouragement to advance work, familial, social, and spiritual goals while strengthening hardiness,
- Using stressful changes as opportunities to learn, renew oneself, and to bolster a portfolio of resources, that make future problem-solving that much easier.
