Dr. Maddi Receives LifeTime Achievement Award from the American Psychological Foundation
Congratulations to Dr. Salvatore R. Maddi. His fifty-two year prolific career as a teacher, author, theorist, researcher, and consultant and practitioner earned him a Gold Medal in the area of Lifetime Achievements in Psychology in the Public Interest. His pioneer study at the Illinois Bell Telephone Company opened up a field of health psychology research and practice that came from his seminal work on the hardiness personality.
